Sizzle ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This document explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Email address (when you create an account)
• A unique user ID assigned by our authentication provider
• The recipes you save, cookbooks you create, meal plans, and grocery lists you build — stored so the app can show them back to you on any device you sign in on.
• Diagnostic data via Apple's MetricKit (crashes, hangs, performance). Not linked to your account.
• Apple In-App Purchase status (whether you have an active subscription).

What we do NOT collect

• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase (authentication, database)
• Apple App Store (subscriptions)
• Google Gemini (AI recipe generation; recipe titles + your dietary preferences are sent so it can return relevant recipes)
• Unsplash (recipe imagery)
• Google Sign In and Sign in with Apple (optional)
